MedSciNet has implemented and launched an updated and revised version of The Swedish National Pregnancy Registry (Graviditetsregistret).
Sweden has a long and successful history of providing patients with superior medical care during the course of pregnancy and childbirth, as evidenced by some of the world’s best health outcomes in the field of maternal and newborn care.
Tasked with the goal of collecting, processing, and analysing patient data relating to Sweden’s 110,000 annual births — covering maternal care, prenatal screening, delivery, and the postpartum period — The National Pregnancy Registry will serve to further develop and improve quality of care for the country’s pregnant women and their newborns.
The Pregnancy Registry is a Certified National Quality Registry initiated by the Swedish Healthcare system and supported by the local county councils.
