Project Manager / UK

MedSciNet is a small international company with origin in Sweden specialising in design and development of web applications and online database systems for clinical trials and studies, quality registries, medical bio-banks, and other solutions within the field of academic medicine. MedSciNet face an interesting year when the company will launch a rather advanced automated system for specification and generation of eCRFs.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with clients to capture project requirements/specifications
  • Manage multiple projects — control the day-to-day aspects of projects (scope, schedule, resources and budget)
  • Quality control management
  • Change control management
  • Manage all project-related communication
  • Conduct customer training sessions
  • Travel to customer locations, demonstrating the software
  • Develop proposals and quotes based upon client needs and specifications

Requirements/qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Business Management or similar)
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working in IT projects
  • Basic knowledge of .NET (C#, ASP.NET), MS SQL, JavaScript
  • Analytical skills to identify customer needs and be able to propose a solution of benefit to the customer
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form, including conducting effective meetings and presentations
  • Curious on new challenges and learning new things
  • Result oriented and with the eye for details
  • Self-driven, fast learner, adaptable and motivated
